NORTHER (FIN)
In 2000 Finland’s frozen grounds spat out a bunch of Norsemen who flocked together
to become what is now known as one of Finland’s most renowned metal-outfits: NORTHER.
After the first demo which subsequently led to a deal with Spinefarm Records the NORTHER
machine kicked into gear with its debut release "Dreams of Endless War" 2002. The first album entered
the Finnish charts and got a good response abroad as well. NORTHER became one of the most promising Finnish
bands combining the best of Death and Thrash Metal with haunting melodies.
After the first release the albums "Mirror of Madness" (2003, licensed by Century Media Records for US release),
"Death Unlimited" (2004) and "Till Death Unites Us" (2006) helped the band to build up a world-wide fan base,
perpetually growing. In 2007, NORTHER left Spinefarm Records to self-release their “No Way Back” EP which entered the Finnish
charts at #1 and marked the debut for drum talent Heikki Saari. The summer of 2007 was highlighted by a successful
Wacken Festival show followed by an European headliner club tour in October and further progress in completing their new album.
Right on time for the label’s 20th anniversary NORTHER joined Century Media and presented their latest opus to their old and
new fans and had a busy year of extensive touring throughout the world. The band’s Century Media debut simply entitled “N” (2008)
was recorded and produced by long time partner Anssi Kippo (Children Of Bodom, etc.) at Astia Studios and
mixed by Fredrik Nordström (Dark Tranquillity, Arch Enemy, In Flames etc.) at Studio Fredman in Sweden.
Their stunning new effort sees NORTHER perfecting their mix of ripping riffs, aggressive vocals and epic melodies.
Now in 2011 with the new multi-talent vocalist, Aleksi Sihvonen, NORTHER is back more intense and stronger than ever!!

NIGHTRAGE (SE/GR)
This band needs no introduction: NIGHTRAGE has left its marks in the Scandinavian metal scene and is a force to be reckoned with that stands for quality.
Over the years, and releases mastermind Marios Iliopoulos & Co. have discovered a general,
persistent sound that brings together the best moments of melodic death and harsh thrash metal with progressive tendencies and reflected guitar work.
On their last album "Wearing a Martyr's Crown" NIGHTRAGE reminded of the overwhelming clout of the "traditional" Gothenburg-style.
With "Insidious" the band approach widens again, without restraining acrimony or vehemence.
Instead, the quintet changed the context of its challenging playground.

NIGHTRAGE are celebrating complex metal on "Insidious", which is staged as aggressive and direct as well as melodic and forward thinking at the same time.
Scandinavian metal can be so beautiful if it is based on fresh ideas and is being presented by experienced musicians.
On the third album by the band for LIFEFORCE RECORDS the conditions are right, and the result is convincing, too. "Insidious"
stands for passion and unconditional internalization of Scandinavian metal sounds between Death, Thrash and Prog metal.
With "Insidious" NIGHTRAGE underline its relevance to the metal scene once again, and delivers a new reference record, it has to be talked about.

We are proud to announce our latest addition, MARTYR!
During the five years that Martyr was alive and kicking (1982-1987), the band released two albums that are considered cult in the Metal scene today.
‘For The Universe’ (1985) and ‘Darkness At Time’s Edge’ (1986) are classic Metal, a delight for those who love strong melodies,
speedy riffs and a high level of technicality. In those years, Martyr appeared on compilation albums from Roadrunner and Metal Blade,
was voted Holland’s best new Metal band in Aardschok magazine, has toured with several international acts and appeared on Sky Channel’s Monsters Of Rock.
Martyr disbanded in 1987, but reunited in 2001 to play the Heavy Metal Maniacs festival.
Four years later, the band revived almost the complete 1982 line up to play the Headbangers Open Air and Keep It True festivals.
The flame has been burning again and the band continued to play live ever since.
December 2008 MARTYR supported US Shock Rockers Lizzy Borden on their European tour.
But also in 2009 and 2010 MARTYR hit the European stages supporting great acts like Flotsam & Jetsam , Vicious Rumors, Jaguar, Evergrey a.o.
In 2009 the first new Martyr record in almost 25 years has been released . That’s when the new EP ‘Fear’ was coupled with a re-release of the classic ‘For The Universe’
album as a double digipack entitled ‘Fear The Universe’ on Rusty Cage Records (RCR0017). In 2010 and 2011 Martyr re-entered the studio between the live shows,
by working on the successor for ‘Fear’. A complete new album called “Circle Of 8”, which will be released by Metal Blade Records in October 2011 worldwide,
will be a significant impulse in Martyr’s revival. And by signing with Metal Blade again : “The Clan Is Back Home”…….

DIABLO (FIN)
Diablo’s fourth album called MIMIC47 (2006) crystallized what Diablo is all about; virtuous musicianship, genius guitar riffs, great
melodies and the undisputed attitude that only the Finnish men living in the dark and cold north could have.
Impatiently awaited MIMIC47 reached the #1 position on the Finnish album charts and so did the title song single on the single charts.
In 2007 Diablo toured Germany for two weeks to promote the album’s German release. One of the highlights in
Diablo’s career so far was supporting METALLICA at their Helsinki Olympic Stadium concert.
Diablo’s fifth album ICAROS was their first one for Sakara Records. The album introduces the band more aggressive than ever;
the tempos have gone up and the guitar tuning down. According to the reviews and Diablo fans, Icaros is their strongest album so far.
The record buyers rewarded the band by giving Icaros the position #2 on the Finnish album charts.
Icaros got great feedback also from the international media and the album was released all over Europe during Autumn 2008 a European tour
with CHILDREN OF BODOM and CANNIBAL CORPSE followed.

IN MOURNING (SE)
Formed in the year of 2000, In Mourning has been active as a band for soon 10 years.
After releasing a couple of demos the band got signed by Norwegian record label Aftermath-Music
and released their first full-length album Shrouded Divine.
Blending a broad variety of influences into a foundation of melodious death-metal,
the music thrusts from doomy metal-riffs, blasting drumbeats and deep growling vocals
to calm breezes of clean flowing melodies.
In summertime 2009 In Mourning began their next chapter by signing a two-record
deal with Singapore-based extreme-metal record label Pulverised Records and recording
their second full-length album, Monolith.
Maintaining the essences of its precursor,
Monolith pushes the elements from Shrouded Divine further.
Keeping the musical core, but with improved song structuring
and musicianship it dives into to new directions without losing track of its origin.
Recorded and engineered by Scar Symmetry’s Jonas Kjellgren at his Black Lounge Studio,
packaged with layout and artwork by metal-artist Travis Smith,
In Mourning’s Monolith is a beautiful piece of art, both in its sound and in its looks.
